King Lear
Written by William Shakespeare
Directed by Brittney Brady

King Lear a father and a tyrant divides his power for what he believes is the good of his kingdom, self and family. Unaware that those around him have learned all to well how he ruled. Looking to the fragility of masculinity within Lear the production pulls from the visual conventions of Western and Noir. Two mediums which are foundational to the past hundred years of American Masculinity.
